The harness can be adjusted in the girth as it has a plastic slide buckle that will make your dog feel comfortable. All fittings on this harness are of the highest quality and are very reliable and will make any adjustment easy to do. You will have to adjust the length of the chest strap only once with the plastic buckle. The harness is equipped with a quick release buckle which you can use when putting the harness on and taking it off. The straps' width is 1 1/4 inch, all straps are stitched with a top quality nylon thread and in some places the stitches are double.

How to measure Your dog for a guide dog harness:

How to measure dog girth (chest behind the front legs): place a flexible measuring tape around dog chest about 1 in behind dog front paws, the place where will be the girth strap of the harness.
How to measure a front chest strap: stretch a measuring tape horisontally along dog's chest. A one tip of tape place about 1 inch behind one paw, stretch it along dog chest to the point behind the other paw, approximately where the girth strap will be placed. That is the length of a front chest strap.
Then choose the size of harness according to these measurements.

Small:

• around the chest behind the front legs (red color on the picture):
  24 - 28 inches (62 - 71 cm)
• front chest strap (blue color on the picture): 24 inches (61 cm)

Medium:

• around the chest behind the front legs (red color on the picture):
  28 - 33 inches (70 - 85 cm)
• chest strap (blue color on the picture): 26 inches (66 cm)

Large:

• around the chest behind the front legs (red color on the picture):
  32 - 41 inches (82 - 105 cm)
• chest strap (blue color on the picture): 28 inches (71 cm)
