The leather is very soft to touch. I've never seen so soft leather dog collars at our dog shops and at the same time it is thick. The collar came just the right fit for the neck of my Dachshund. There is also a floating ring to fix the tip. I worried that the fittings would be heavy for my dog as at collars I see here for large dogs mostly, but here verything is all right :)
